You are more prone to go into ease hell, and it doesn't let you study from detail to detail and attack the content at different info. Even if there are 'less cards', that doesn't necessarily mean much less work. However, it should still adhere to the minimum information principle. I don't disagree with the fact that jacksparrow is comprehensive, and I know certain people prefer to use cards with Q/A. Currently, there aren’t that many people onboard the project and it will take much longer without any help. If you want to help make a better deck for the MCAT which addresses these concerns and flaws of these premade decks, then feel free to volunteer and contact u/Dinonights. There is definitely potential to make a much better anki deck to streamline the learning process for the MCAT. There are obvious flaws for each and every premade deck for the MCAT. Terrible tagging (and therefore, organization). Not comprehensive (Have to add yourself some). Many users tend to complain about the Psy/Soc deck because of its format.Good - This means that you might lose the discrete knowledge found in that card.Easy - This means that you might lose the discrete knowledge found in that card. If you get 99 % of the card right but miss that one percent, what do you do?.Some don't even cover everything comprehensively because it was used for personal studying. For instance, most of them are made by creators in which that was their first time making an anki deck, and they don’t follow the 20 rules by Supermemo. There are many obvious cons to every pre-made deck made for the MCAT. To make good cards by yourself, I would refer to SuperMemo’s 20 rules of formatting knowledge. I also don't believe importing this new version will add my edits as it views his cards as the more updated version for some reason Note: If you are already deep into the kashfix tagged version don't worry about switching. There should be 6301 cards, I'm still trying to figure out why there are more cards than my original deck. These decks still contain important content so be sure to look at them. These decks are not yet sorted by chapter, (that will come in Jacksparrow2.0 eventually). As a note, the b/b miscellaneous, c/p miscellaneous, and p/s miscellaneous contains all the new cards I added while going through Kaplan/KA doc. Thus, I have quickly created a new version of my deck with the cards sorted by Kaplan chapter, or by KA doc section for psych/soc. The tagged version includes all of rebop's original cards (with my new cards) and does not include the hundreds of edits I made to rebops cards (sometimes adding content). It has recently come to my attention that the currently available tagged version of my deck is actually not representative of my original deck. Compilation of MCAT Advice (200+ Users).
